Assessment Only with Xavier Teach SouthEast

Our Assessment Only route offers a stream-lined programme which enables unqualified, yet experienced teachers, the option of gaining their QTS in a shorter timescale (12-weeks) than the traditional QTS only route. Candidates for this route must already be meeting the Teachers’ Standards and require no further training.

We assess across primary, secondary, special school, FE/Sixth form colleges.

Fees for the programme
£2835 (to be negotiated between the candidate and their sponsoring school)

To be eligible, the candidate must:

  • Have at least two years of full-time teaching experience in at least two or more schools
  • Be employed by their school full-time and be teaching a full timetable with responsibility for the planning, assessment and progress of whole classes
  • Have GCSEs (or acceptable equivalent) Grade A*- C/4-9 in Maths & English (& Science if primary)
  • Have a degree

All applicants will be observed as part of the application process and prior contact with a sponsor (member of the leadership team) from the school is required for an application to be considered.

Please be aware that part-time candidates must teach full-time for a minimum of 6 weeks of the 12 weeks of the assessment only course.
