Making an application to Teach SouthEast 

We are really excited that you are thinking of training to teach with us. To help you through the process, we have listed the steps you need to complete to make your application.

STEP 1 

Before applying, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for teaching in the UK. You must:

• Have a grade 4 or above (grade C or above) in Maths and English Language GCSE
• In addition to the above, if you are applying to teach primary, you must also have a grade C or higher in a GCSE Science 
• At least a 2:2 Undergraduate Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) 
• Have the right to live and work in the UK for the duration of the programme.

STEP 2

Find the right course for you. We have a number of different routes available, so please use the information on our website under 'What we offer' to understand the various options there are to suit you and your circumstances. The information is also available on our prospectus so take some time to flick through it.

STEP 3

Apply through the DfE Apply website using our course codes which can be found here.  

FAST APPLY

Whilst you make a start on your DfE application, you can also complete our Fast Apply form which comes directly through to us here at Teach SouthEast. This means we can get you to interview and meet you as soon as possible, without waiting for your references to come through. If we offer you a conditional place on one of our courses at interview, you will still need to complete your application through the DfE Apply website.
